I can be pretty opinionated about Hawaiian music, and am usually not shy about expressing those opinions.
We are in the process of converting all of our audio samples to Real Audio 3.0 format. All
of the files will appear on their respective artist/album pages, as well as on our Real Audio Showcase.
Susan Jaworowski compiles the definitive reports on Hawaiian music. The latest edition

I make two recommendations for those interested in purchasing Hawaiian music via the Internet.
Many artists and labels now sell their own CDs online, and I would encourage purchases from these artists directly. These include:
Keola Beamer
For all other Hawaiian music purchases, I highly recommend the Hawaiian Music Island.

I haven't seen Cecilio and Kapono perform together since the mid-1970s. Back then it seemed that everyone who had a guitar knew at least half of their repetoire, myself included. Last night's concert brought back a lot of happy memories of those days, for nearly two and a half hours.
Though a drum set and other instruments onstage indicated that a backup band was waiting in the wings, the concert opened with just C & K and their guitars. They ran through an hour's worth of their classic tunes, they were having such a good time I started to think that maybe they forgot the rest of the band. However, half way through "Suite Judy Blue Eyes" the band trotted on stage and they kicked for the rest of the set.
I really couldn't think of a song that I had hoped they would perform that they didn't. The only cover tunes they did were previously mentioned "Suite Judy Blue Eyes" and Kenny Loggins' "Danny's Song." My only disappoingment was that in the performance of the latter they did one of those obligatory "dividing the audience to see who can sing louder" contests that just went on for too long (each side gets three chances and then everyone together??) I would have preferred that they used the time to squeeze in a few more songs. Henry seemed to be a little under the weather, doing a bit of coughing between songs, but you couldn't hear it in that amazing voice of his.
All in all a wonderful night, congratulations to Chris Leonard and the staff of KWXX for pulling this off. I hope the sucess of last night's concert encourages them to bring more acts to Hilo. May I suggest Kalapana? Are you listening, Chris? Gaylord?
Aloha,
Keola
