Friends

I believe that the most significant decisions I made as I was growing up were the friends that I chose, and it's something that I try to pass on to my children.

Below are a few of the people that who, outside of my own family, have had the most significant impact in my life, and who don't mind having their pictures splashed all over cyberspace.

Fulton Tashombe is one of the two most gifted musicians I've ever worked around, and I've met more than my share. He's also co-godfather of my daughter Malia
James Vincent is the other. Though James only lived in Hawai'i for a few years back in the mid 80s, we still stay in touch. The musicians that he's worked with could fill a "Who's Who" of contemporary music.
