Fulton Tashombe has been performing as a Professional Musician for over twenty years. Born in San Francisco, California, he began his career as a child prodigy under the guidence of the late Earle Blew, Professor of Music at Stanford University.

Tashombe went from classical music training to discover a wide range of musical forms in which he could express himself; Jazz, Latin, Reggae, Pop, Country, Soul, R and B, as well as original material. Tashombe, being of Creole descent, also has a strong Gospel influence, no doubt due to the fact that Fulton's dad is a Baptist Minister.

As pianist, vocalist, writer, conductor, and arranger, Tashombe has performed with the famed recording artist The Whispers, The O'Jays, Johnnie Guitar Watson, Emil Richards, and many others. While serving in the Air Force Fulton participated in the film "The Right Stuff", which was nominated for an Academy Award. Since the 1970's, Tashombe's dynamic sound has been featured on numerous recordings.

Since coming to the Island of Maui in 1983, Tashombe has created an ensemble of World class musicians that has excited and inspired countelss audiences in both dance, night club, and concert settings. Through the use of sophisticated electronics, varied musical backgrounds, strong vocals and charismatic personalities, Tashombe produces what is best described as a contemporary orchestral sound, utilizing the latest in sound technology.

Tashombe performs nightly at the Kea Lani Hotel , Wailea, Maui. And spends his days writing, teaching, producing, rehearsing and chasing his son, Gabriel around...enjoying life...and in addition to all that he still finds time to host a weekly Jazz show for KAOI radio. Often you can find him laughing, and you may chance to hear him say... "LIFE IS GOOD..."
